Conditioner improves experience

I started using Cocofomm a couple of months ago. It took me a few weeks to find the right formula (use Sunny Citrus) and adjust, but I'm really happy that I stuck with it. My dry, fine, and frizzy hair looks thicker and less frizzy. Adding in the conditioner bar has really helped reduce the dry feeling. The customer service is excellent. Thanks Liz for helping my daughter and me find the best options.

It's wonderful

Early customer here. I found I didn't need the conditioner as the shampoo wasn't overdrying at all but now that one's available, it's even better. Perfectly moisturizing, doesn't weigh anything down. I've got normal-dry hair. The bar seems to last forever but you have to make sure to dry it between uses. Instead of laying mine down flat, I make it stand up so there's more surface area to dry.

Hi Violet, thank you so much for the love! Let us know if you have any other feedback. - Team Cocofomm

Loving it so far

So far I really love it! I have Type 2b hair, so more on the wavy side and dry.. I had just bought a new shampoo bar but it was gooey and falling apart so I figured why not try this out cause I saw it on a post...well, I'm hooked :) It's definitely a bit different at first, the concept of sprinkling crumbs into your hand...I mean I am just so used to liquid products. But this all makes sense and I find it kinda fun to turn the powder into bubbles.

The scent is minty and yummy, not too overpowering and best of all it's essential oil, so all natural and none of that artificial chemical crap. I plan on getting preggo soon so am switching over to natural products..this is great for that :)

I do wish they had non-plastic shakers....like metal? But I get that it's reusable and whatnot, so it's still better than buying/throwing out/buying/throwing out each time. I love the idea of being able to reuse stuff/jars I already have.

Agree with other poster than the crumbs sometimes fall off your hand which is a shame..but I actually find that putting it directly on my head works better.

- Kate

Hi Kate, we're glad you're enjoying Cocofomm! We've had a good number of customers report to us that they're sprinkling the powder directly on their heads, as opposed to onto the palm, rubbing hands together, then lathering. This might work well for you and some others, but for best effect, we still recommend working the crumbs out in your palms first. It helps the lather spread better. Let us know how it goes! - The Cocofomm Team

here via FB

So I'm in this zero-waste FB group and saw this - and jumped on it. Why? bc I HATE shampoo bars, they've never worked for me and either felt waxy, gross, dried out my hair, or fell into pieces and got used up within 2 weeks. I like the idea of powder. I just started using this one so can't speak to it long term but my goodness, this stuff is fabulous!!! I didn't even need to follow up with a conditioner. I'm going to get some for my mommy friends. Cocofomm- you guys are genius!!!

One minor complaint but it kinda cakes on my container ..not a biggie though I just have to be better at washing it

Hi Kenz! We appreciate your honest feedback! - Team Cocofomm

love what this company's all about

I just started my zero waste journey and this fits right in. Been using it for only a week so not sure how it'll do long run, but for now:
Pros- nice dense creamy foam, not the small fluff/'cheap' foam you get with normal shampoo, clean ingredients (each of which I googled before buying, BTW)...and not pricey. I'm a broke recent grad.
Cons- I wish it had more scent? Guess i'm used to fragrance...Overall, already love this stuff <3

Hi Jennifer, thanks for supporting us at the early stage of our journey. Keep us posted on your thoughts. - The Cocofomm Team
